Splice app download all button crash

Thank you so much for providing this app! I especially liked using the Ken Burns effect on still photos which worked much, much better - is far more versatile - and easier than its counterpart in iMovie. Biggest complaint with upgrades made since summer is the loss of some of the holiday music I had a hard time doing holiday video last Christmas and other suitable music to use, and the loss of the feature which let you splice the free music together easily with fade-out options available at beginning and end.

Other complaint is not having special features with how text or titles displays such as the ability to have letters dropping down, or fading in and out, etc. I also like the ease in selecting aspect ratio although it is limited to only 3 choices. Overall this is a nice, fairly easy to use editing package. I use it the most for animating static photos so they zoom in or out, move from side to side or even - on rare occasion - rotate, which is especially cool if done right.

Hi, thank you for writing to us. We regret to hear that you were disappointed in the new update. We 've worked very hard on it, so it makes us sad to know that it does not live up to your expectations.

However, we appreciate to know what you think as well as the time you took to share it with us. We'd like you to know that it is only possible to use media files locally stored on your device, which means that you won't be able to use photos and videos saved in dropbox unless you also download it to your camera roll.

We are sorry about this inconvenience but we'd like to offer to assist you with any further clarification you may need. Feel free to reach us by sending an email to reviews bendingspoons.

This is a pretty amazing professional video editing app that has many of the features that you would expect from a professional video editing app! Even better, the app is so intuitive and so easy to use that you will feel like you are an expert of this app within just a few minutes of using it! However, it could use a few small improvements, including more responsive technical support. Other video editing apps insert text at just 5 seconds, and then you can quickly change it from there.

There is also no way to pull the audio from a video clip and just use that audio as a narration track for other video clips. We also have continual difficulty trying to trim the end of a video clip by dragging the end of the video — this app often things that we are trying to MOVE the video clip.

We end up splitting and deleting to prevent this from happening. Hopefully the team behind this app is listening and will continue to improve this app! Check that all assets in the project are saved to your phone's storage.

Assets saved to Cloud sources such as Google Drive and Dropbox won't work with the app. If any of the project's assets are saved on the Cloud, try downloading them to your phone and re-adding them to your project. If you still can't identify the faulty assets, try removing every single one such as pictures, videos, and audio files in order. By repeating the process for each asset, you'll quickly learn which is causing the issue.

Then you can exclude it from your project. If none of the solutions listed above solves the issue, reach out to our Customer Support team. There are a number of things that might lead to an error in Splice. Often, the app recognizes how to fix the issue itself. Otherwise, you can try some common solutions.

Before attempting any of these, please check that you're running the most recent versions of iOS and Splice. Try switching to a different internet connection. If you still can't export your project, reach out to our Customer Support team. If the error message displayed doesn't indicate how to solve the issue, please try the following:. While the app can't always recover from a crash on its own, you can perform the following checks in an attempt to solve the issue:.

If none of these suggestions solves the issue, please consider removing every single media e. By repeating the process for all the media, you'll be able to find out the one that is causing the issue and make sure you exclude it from your creation.

Finally, you can reach out to our Customer Support team. We will soon configure exports to only include your composition until the point where the media ends, removing any further elements. Meanwhile, please trim any undesired parts. You have two ways to do so:. Only tracks that have been purchased via iTunes can be added to your projects. It might require some technical time for the button to update depending on iTunes functioning.

As soon as the purchased item is available for use, it will be listed right under the search bar in Your Library section of Splice. If the button still states Purchased and not Play after a fewhours or days, don't hesitate to contact iTunes support. Yes, all music and effects are copyrighted, but we have licensed them for our customers' use.

However, if you have a monetized account on social media or if you use a social media account for business purposes, we regret to inform you that the music associated with your project might be blocked.

As a matter of fact, it is not possible to use the music and effects available in our app for projects intended for commercials or business use.

Bulk editing is simple with Apply to all. Whenever you make an edit that can be applied in bulk, an expandable blue button with double-check marks appears at the bottom of your screen. Tap this button to expand the Apply to all option. Only your most recent edit is impacted by Apply to all. To use it for multiple edits, select it after each one rather than after several changes. This means that the photos you add to your project will have a default animation applied to them.

You may change this setting from within your project. Tap Settings at the top right-hand corner of your screen, and deselect Project Defaults. To remove the animation from the photos already in your project, select any photo, go to the Animate tab, and disable Ken Burns on the photo.

Expand the button with the two blue ticks to disable animation on all photos. Splice lets you import small parts of your video in the form of Highlights , in case you only want to import certain snippets. Kesha Lee. Music made Royalty-free samples.
