Firstoff, your models are great! Scratch that— how do you make templates? I would love to know, as I would like to try making some of my ideas become real! Most people nowadays that make papercraft models from video games, use a tool called Pepakura Designer to unfold a digital 3D model into 2D, papercraft parts you can print and build. Although for many games it is possible to extract the actual 3D models from the game the Nintendo Papercraft forums have a lot more information on this than I can tell you here in this small comment box ;o , if you try to unfold that into a paper model, it would have lots and lots of difficult and small parts, unless you make it very big… :o.
In the plans, on page 7, it asks for part 76 to be glued to part 53…but nowhere can I find part Is this a miss print or am I missing a page. I have a total of 10 pages right now. Thanks for you help…and great job! Parts 67 and 72 are glued on to create a bit of a layered effect, as you can see in the fifth picture here: link.
Thanks for the fast update…. As you probably have guessed, doing it out of another material other than paper, will have its challenges and since this is my first attempt I may have to come back for some advice. If I am successful, I will be only to happy to share my results. I am planning on including your design in a diorama that I have built for my home theater….
If your interested, I have include a link to some of the pictures. Once again, thanks so much for your help and creativity. Wow, I can only imagine the work that went into that diorama! It looks like a small scale Star Trek movie set!
I hope you can make your ideas for the Delta Flyer work; it will be definitely be a challenge to get the plastic window blinds to follow all the curves of the paper model and get them to stay together, but seeing your experience with making small scale models, I am confident you can do it if you take your time! I began work on this project this week-end….
But I thought I would load a few pictures of what I have managed to get started and to give everyone a better idea of what you can do with ninjatoes creations. I have looked through much of your papercraft creations, they are astonishing! You have an amazing talent with paper. I would like to suggest you build Luigis Mansion, Hyrule Castle both the castle and the gatehouse , and the Mario 64 version of Peaches Castle.
The nintendo papercraft website has a Hyrule Castle but it is just the keep and it is not accurate to the Oot game. The drawbridge was always one of my most favorite parts of the game! I would love to see these buildings in paper form!
There are many other papercrafters out there, a lot of which really like video games, so keep an eye out! I need some advice on what to do. Did you follow the same method I used? So now you have one piece with the head, the front legs and the front portion of his body and one piece with the hind legs and the tail? You can replace any glueing tabs that accidentally teared off by simply cutting a piece of scrap paper to the right size and glue it to the inside of the model where the glueing tab would be.
The trick with parts like this, is to try and let the tension in the paper do the work for you: if you fold the glueing tabs outwards a bit instead of inwards what you would expect you have to do and then put the parts together, they will press themselves against the inside of the opposite part. The more tension there is in the paper like with thicker paper , the better this will work, because the glueing tabs will press harder against the inside of the parts.
It is still very difficult, though! Keep working around all sides of the body until all the glueing tabs are glued to the inside of the body properly. This method takes a lot of time and gentle handling, though! If the glue dries out before you get the glueing tabs to stick properly, take a scrap piece of paper, put an extra amount of glue on the tip of it, and carefully push it between the glueing tabs and the parts.
That way you can carefully apply extra glue. Then, taking a thin, metal rod like a nitting needle or really anthing that fits through the small hole you can use it to push against the glueing tabs from the inside, while applying counter pressure with your hand from the outside. Then you can glue the tail back on, using an extra amount of glue. If you do want to try it, make the cut as clean as you can, and put some scrap pieces of paper on the backside of the edges, sticking out underneath the hole kinda like glueing tabs so you have something to glue back on the piece you cut out.
Trace the outline of the open end s of the parts, and cut that shape out of a stiff, sturdy piece of cardboard. Maybe you would only have to do it on one side, but you can also try doing it on both sides; the openings should be exactly the same shape of course since they should fit together only mirrored! I hope you can get it to work somehow, though; the best tip I can give you, is to still really take your time even if you already worked on it and tried to get it to work for so long, and carefully work around the edge where the two parts meet one by one until you got every glueing tab to stick to the inside of the part properly.
Good luck, and I hope you can finish the last step of wolf Link soon so you can give him a proud place in your room! I probably should though. Or I might use the reinforcement technique. If you try to do too much at once, you might damage more than you want to! Feel with your fingers on the outside where the tool is, and work with the tool to press against the inside of the glueing tabs, while providing counter pressure from the outside.
If the glue dries out before you did them all, put some glue on the edge of a scrap piece of paper, and push it between the glueing tabs and the parts to put on some new glue. Wolf Link definately is one of the most challenging models I made, but you sound really determined so I hope you can finish yours! Thanks for all the advice. Wolf Link, Super Smash Bros. Melee Link, and the head of the King of Red Lions are probably the three most challenging models I made so far, most of the others are much easier.
There also a lot of other papercraft models on other sites of course;lots of Zelda models, but also a lot of others. On sites like Paperkraft. I did it. Thanks for all the help. Sites like Paperkraft. A more detailed Super Smash Bros. The instructions link for the Green Earth Megatank lead to the yellow comet megatank instructions.
The new units in Advance Wars Dual Strike all look the same for all 5 armies, except the colours. So because all the parts are the same, you can use the same instructions for all 5 armies, just like with the Stealth Fighters and even the Neotanks from Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, for instance.
Ignatius of Nintendo Papercraft designed a normal Arwing. The Nintendo Papercraft website is here: link. The Super Smash Bros. From the looks of it, you did a great job building it! I saw the Darknut on Nintendo Papercraft and I thought lots of Zelda fans would love to see it or even try it themselves too!
You mean the Mark 1 from JP Papercraft? Every time I fold a valley, It leaves an ugly crease that shows the white paper underneath. Sometimes no matter what technique you use though, you will still see white lines especially on the cut edges of course.
No problem, I see you already built a few papercraft models so you already have plenty of practice I think! Making a video of building a paper model is a lot of work, so good luck and have fun building Epona!
Hello Ninjatoes, what im wondering now that i continously read these requests is this…. At the moment im doing a lot of other stuff just becuase i want to do that memorable papercraft you know?
For all of your great models. There are already several Star Fox papercraft models over at Nintendo Papercrafts to keep you busy, though: link. Dude, you just surpassed your own awesomeness to an alarming degree! What comes after totally impressed? Haha thank you for your enthusiasm!
There are a lot of things you might not expect in the miscellaneous category, Kim Possible is a very funny cartoon and I really like how her paper model turned out, but there are a lot more things! Have a look around, the most important thing I think is to choose something you really like. Then you can glue them to the jaws one by one. Parts and are meant to be attached before you glue them to the jaws. There are white areas on the jaws, i fyou stick to those, the teeth should all fit nicely against eachother and make it all the way around without gaps between them.
Hi Ninjatoes! Gipi here. In this post: link back you can find a px x 60px banner that you can use. And a much more detailed version from Super Smash Bros. Brawl can be found on Nintendo Papercraft: link. I am fairly new to papercraft and I really love the Advance War series, have you ever thought of bundling all the vehicles of each army as a group that would make the download a lot easier. I say, nice models you got in here. Good luck with crafting choppers. By the way, awesome.
Do you mean the Advance Wars heli copters? Your models are never over-complicated or too tall. I really look forward to seeing your future models! I have lots of ideas for new papercraft models, so there are definitely many more to come! And of course there are still plenty of other KH heroes that would make great paper models too, so really anything is possible!
Hey, I have been a great follower of yours for a long time, i love your work! Which would you recommend? I have limited paper and ink supplies, so keep that in mind, thanks. Some of my models require a lot of pages, and others only a few; my biggest models are the Zelda King of Red Lions boat 16 sheets and my Star Trek Rubicon runabout 15 sheets.
Most of my Advance Wars models only require 2 sheets, and my other models anywhere between sheets. Many of my models are in PDF format so you can open them in your browser and quickly see how many sheets of paper and how much ink they would require. Oogie Boogie from Kingdom Hearts is pretty much a black-and-white model, but my other models look best when printed in colour of course.
Haha well I really liked building all of them of course! Halo is very popular though, and Billybob already made several Halo papercraft models, including the Master Chief himself. The PlayMore site once had an official Master Chief paper model which can be found here now and Bungie. Haha no problem of course!
I love Star Wars so yes, it would definately be a nice idea to make some papercraft Star Wars minifigs too! Piromodel already made some stormtroopers, clone troopers and even Boba Fett, but no Darth Vader — yet? Yes, I did check this website The pieces are small on their templates tho. Did you see the Skyward Sword Link papercraft? Yes I did, from Paper Zelda! I think it looks so similar because it is based on the same 3D model of course, and they used a lot of the same solutions on the papercraft model as I did, but if you look closely not everything is the same!
The new Skyword Sword Link was made by Paper Zelda, their weblog with their models is over here: link. For my first model I made Fierce Deity Link. He turned out great and I really enjoyed making him. I can assure you that I will be making many more of your models. I am looking at getting into paper craft. I have made some simple one-page models, but I think I am ready to move on to something a little more impressive. What model on your site do you suggest I start with?
Some of my models are very easy, and a few are very challenging, Like Super Smash Bros. Thanks, I have picked Mario to start, everyone likes Mario!
So far so good, but I have noticed the glue I am using is not really frying fast. Sometimes I have to hold tabs together for 3- minutes till it dries enough. I have using pvc craft glue. Is this suitable for paper craft, and the tab holding is just a part of the hobby, or should I be using something else. What type of glue do you use? I live in Australia and may not be able to get the same brand, but if I know what type to look for it will be much easier to find something suitable. Then, when you put the parts together and apply some pressure between your fingers, the parts are stuck almost immediately.
Yamaha has a nice papercraft techniques video tutorial on their website, which also explains these things: link. I am new to paper craft, the first one I am trying is your mario model. I have cut everythng out of the first page, but i dont really understand the instructions. How do I fold the lines? Some are dotted and some are not, what is the difference when folding and cutting? Parts that only have to be curved or bent like most parts of my paper Mario will have no fold lines of course!
There are two different kinds: mountain folds , that mean you have to fold the printed side of the paper down , and valley folds , that mean you have to fold the printed side of the paper up. On the last page of the parts of my Mario model, you can see a little schematic I made to illustrate this. If you look closely, you can see different patterns of fold lines.
On my models, valley folds have a. That will make a dent or even a scratch along the fold line, and when you try to fold it, the paper will automatically fold along that line.
To make it easier to glue the parts together, you should take the time to fold and pre-shape the parts to give them the right shape before trying to glue them together. Make sure which lines you have to fold which way, and how you have to shape the part to make it look like the pictures in the instructions. You will probably come up with your own ideas and tools to fold and build paper models!
Who models planned right now, no…. It has a circular-shaped Unibeam with a white glow, and has a thinner appearance than a regular Iron Man Armor. It is later used when Tony was seeing who was at his front door finding Maya Hansen.
When the Mandarin attacks Tony's home, Tony controls the suit to wrap around Pepper until she made it safely out of the house. Tony then uses the suit to try to fend off the Mandarin's attack. It was able to destroy two out of three helicopters but was heavily damaged. It fell down with his house but was able to make it out of the wreckage and away from Malibu.
Tony finds out that the suit has flown all the way to Rose Hill, Tennessee. The suit is low on power and Tony has to find a way to charge it. He finds a garage to keep it where he meets Harley Keener. Tony and Harley are able to charge the suit but not fully. Tony later uses it to escape from Trevor Slattery's house and deal with his guards. It is hit by a truck and is knocked into pieces, but is somehow later put back together and arrives at the docks to aid the other suits in killing Killian, but hits a pole and falls into pieces.
It is then used to trap Aldrich and self destructs on Tony's orders but since the suit is still in prototype and is extremely low on power and energy- it fails to kill him. Info source : ironman.
